From where to stay and what to do, planning a bachelorette party in another city can be tricky. Fortunately, New Orleans has a multitude of bars, restaurants and things to do that you can’t go wrong with for a wonderful weekend in the Crescent City.
Below, we’ve listed a few wine bars that will add a bit of elegance, and maybe pinot, to your bachelorette celebration.
Oak Wine Bar
Oak is a small, but mighty wine bar and restaurant. Located on Oak Street, the bar’s ambiance is a nice and cozy spot to get your night started.

Brennan’s Restaurant
Brennan’s is a New Orleans staple. Additionally, this culinary hotspot has a wine list that can’t be beat. If you’re looking for an upscale venue with authentic New Orleans food, Brennan’s in the French Quarter is your spot.

Effervescence
From Champagne to sparkling wine, Effervescence is a perfect bachelorette location. It’s elegant and has a delicious “lite bite” menu that will definitely get the night started. Sometimes, there’s even live music!

Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits
Bacchanal is known for its wine, cheese and live music. A more relaxed spot, Bacchanal gives guests a sophisticated outdoor experience.

Bayou Wine Garden
This is where locals come for a simple glass of wine and some great happy hour food. (Kelly here: this is my personal favorite.) It’s an elevated wine bar that is also connected to the equally popular Bayou Beer Garden.
