Eugenie DeJean Grevemberg and Kurt Wolfe Fromherz have known each other through mutual friends for more than a decade. In May 2009 Eugenie and Kurt ran into each other at a wedding in New Orleans. They danced together the whole night and the rest is history.
During a trip to Navarre Beach with a group of friends in May 2011, Kurt surprised Eugenie by proposing on the beach at sunset. They celebrated the engagement with their friends all weekend. Following the wedding, the newlyweds spent an extra night in New Orleans before traveling to Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands for a week. Eugenie makes custom clothes and window treatments. Kurt is a Manufacturer’s Representative for Waters and David Company. The couple is renovating a house in Uptown New Orleans.
