A New Orleans native and LSU School of Medicine graduate, Dr. Elizabeth Bucher completed her residency and fellowship training in Dermatology and Mohs Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. She practiced in academics and private practice in the greater Boston area prior to returning home and joining The Skin Surgery Centre, a state-of-the-art medical practice where Dr. Bucher and colleagues perform Mohs micrographic surgery and excisional surgery for the treatment of skin cancer and other malignant and benign skin growths. Dr. Bucher operates in all three office locations including the Southshore, Northshore, and Biloxi, seeing adults and children over 5 years of age. She has an interest in educating the public about sun protection for the prevention of skin cancer.
