As President & CEO of Arts New Orleans, Joycelyn Reynolds leads the city’s nonprofit community arts agency into its 50th anniversary year with vision, inclusion, and strong neighborhood ties. For more than 35 years, she has been a tireless advocate for artists and public art throughout New Orleans. “Making art happen has been my life’s work,” she says. Under her leadership, Arts New Orleans has expanded its reach and deepened its community impact—supporting large-scale murals, presenting the acclaimed LUNA Fête Festival of Light, Art & Technology, growing its youth education and diversion programs, and installing public art in neighborhoods citywide.
