A pioneering force in the world of environmental advocacy and education, Kate Tannian was named the 2024 Sadie Roberts-Joseph Excellence in Community Outreach award recipient by the Louisiana Association of Museums (LAM). Her work to build curriculum using hands-on STEM activities is inspiring the next generation to become stewards of Louisiana’s precious ecosystems.
