While you won’t see her name advertised often, rest assured that Robyn Cook, co-founder of Gris-Gris with her husband Executive Chef Eric Cook, is a foundational cog in one of the most celebrated restaurants in New Orleans. With a background in arts and non-profit fundraising, what began as helping get the restaurant off the ground evolved into Robyn becoming the full-time Director of Operations. With a symbiotic dynamic here Eric handles the kitchen and service while Robyn takes care of the rest, this collaborative partnership has helped Gris-Gris flourish, along with their second restaurant, Saint John, which is currently receiving an extensive makeover toward a grand reboot in Fall 2024.
