HARVEY, La (press release) – The Woodmere Festival will take place Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 1-7 p.m. at Woodmere Playground, 4100 Glenmere Blvd., Harvey, LA 70058.
The FREE, family-centered event will feature live entertainment, free seafood, access to community resources, and an interactive kids area. DJ Polo, 4 x 4 Connection and Dave Lemon are among the confirmed artists. Community members interested in requesting a complimentary, souvenir t-shirt can request one HERE.
The event is offered through a collaboration with New Growth Economic Development Association, Rep. Rodney Lyons (District 87) and Jefferson Parish Councilmember Byron Lee to promote economic development and community well-being.
Rep. Lyons represents District 87, which embodies Woodmere and neighboring communities, said, “The Woodmere Festival celebrates the strength of our community while promoting local entrepreneurs and talent.”
