UnknownNEW ORLEANS (press release) – Inspired by the recent Ken Burns documentary on Ernest Hemingway that aired nationally on PBS, WYES invites guests to attend its annual gala, named after the American novelist and sportsman — THE WORLDS OF HEMINGWAY PRESENTED BY OSCAR J. TOLMAS CHARITABLE TRUST on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the WYES Paulette and Frank Stewart Innovation Center for Educational Media located at 916 Navarre Ave. in New Orleans. 

The Patron Party begins at 6:30 p.m., tickets are $500 per person. The Gala begins at 8:00 p.m., tickets are $200 per person. Junior prices are available for ages ages 21-40. All event tickets include ample free parking, food and cocktails. Tickets can be purchased online at wyes.org/events or by calling 504-486-5511 during normal business hours.
Guests are encouraged to wear Hemingway inspired attire or cocktail attire while enjoying delectable cuisine by CELEBRATE! Catered Events by Windsor Court and entertainment by The Boogie Men thanks to LCI Workers’ Comp. Libations provided by Sazerac Company and Crescent Crown Distributing. Wines provided by Bizou Wines.
