Yo Nashi New Happy Hour and Sake Dinner May 11

NEW ORLEANS (press release) –  Yo Nashi – owned by Kyle Payer with Executive Chef Mackenzie (Mack) Broquet (formerly with Commander’s Palace) – utilizes local ingredients and flavor with Japanese technique and presentation. Open Thurs – Mon (5 – 10 p.m.), Chef Mack’s $89 omakase dining experience invokes a sense of transportation while simultaneously being rooted in the city where he presides, New Orleans.

*NEW* HAPPY HOUR AT YO NASHI: Yo Nashi is excited to debut its new happy hour, running Thurs – Mon from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Happy Hour features half-price beers and sake by the glass, along with an a la carte menu for those interested in a smaller taste of the restaurant’s omakase dining experience. 

  • A La Carte Menu – Sushi includes salmon, tuna and yellowtail nigiri; salmon, tuna and wagyu Maki (rolls); and tuna temake (hand rolls).  
  • A La Carte Menu – Small Plates includes a Bluefin tuna tartare, Louisiana Crawfish Tails with green curry, vermicelli and carrot, shiro miso soup and more. 
  • A La Carte Menu – Entrees/Desserts includes an A5 Wagu or seared gulf fish with asparagus and local mushroom plus a 7-spice cake with caramel, blackberry and toasted pecan. 

YO NASHI SAKE DINNER – Thursday, May 11. 

Yo Nashi has teamed up with “The Sake Ninja,” aka Chris Johnson, to create a special omakase dinner with unique sake pairings next Thursday, May 11. The seven-course meal is $145++ and reservations can be made anytime between 5-10 p.m. (reservations via Open Table).
