Young Audiences Charter Schools Student Top 5 Finalist in Doodle for Google Competition

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Young Audiences Charter Schools is proud to announce that Annalise Perez, an eighth grader from the Young Audiences at Burmaster campus, has been selected as one of the top 5 finalists in the highly competitive Doodle for Google 2023 competition. 

Doodle for Google, an annual competition organized by Google, invites K-12 students from across the United States to submit their version of the Google logo. This year’s theme invited submissions to the prompt “I am grateful for…”

Upon hearing of Annalise’s selection, Young Audiences’ CEO Rickie Nutik praised Annalise’s accomplishment, stating, “We are immensely proud of Annalise’s achievement in the Doodle for Google competition. Her artistic abilities and passion for education make her a shining example of the talent and dedication we foster at Young Audiences Charter Schools. We wish her the best of luck in the final round.”

Doodle for Google will announce the winner among the five National Finalists on June 6. The National Winner will have their Doodle featured on the Google homepage for a day and will take home a $30,000 college scholarship. Their school will also receive a $50,000 tech package to establish or improve a computer lab or technology program.
