NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Chef Edgar Caro and partner Antonio Mata of the Caro Mata Group are excited to announce the 4th Annual Zócalo Fest will take place on Sunday, May 5, from 3 to 10 p.m. at 2051 Metairie Rd. The annual block party is a day filled with live music, delicious food, and family fun. This year, Zócalo will offer VIP tickets, including private tent access and unlimited drinks from the VIP bar.
“We can’t wait for this family-friendly event,” said Caro. “All of our restaurants come together in one place, sharing in this celebration of culture and tradition. It’s the best Cinco de Mayo party around!”
Zócalo, Brasa South American Steakhouse, Barú, and Basin Seafood & Spirits will sell food from booths in the parking lot across from Zócalo. Live music from Fermín Ceballos and After Party Trio will entertain attendees, while DJ Javi Reyes and DJ Styles will keep the music going throughout the day and evening. Sponsors for the 4th Annual Zócalo Fest include Tres Generaciones®, Hornitos Tequila, and Sauza Tequila.
