Zócalo to host National Tequila Day Dinner and Tequila Tasting

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Zócalo Cocina Mexicana & Cantina, along with Zócalo Fest and El Tesoro tequila, will host a dinner and tequila tasting in celebration of National Tequila Day 2021.

The event, to be held Wednesday, July 21, at Zócalo’s Old Metairie location at 2051 Metairie Rd., will feature a four-course meal, a tequila tasting and a specialty tequila cocktail from Zócalo owner and chef Edgar Caro and El Tesoro tequila expert Joe Meteye.

Limited seating will require advanced ticket purchase through www.chefedgarcaro.com. Tickets are $95 per person. The event will also feature a raffle, with the winner getting dinner for two at Zócalo. Proceeds of the raffle will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.
